Partnering with the Aurora Masquerade Foundation: A Red Fox Multimedia Collaboration

At Red Fox Multimedia, I’ve always believed in the power of creativity to make a difference, which is why working with the Aurora Masquerade Foundation has been such a meaningful experience for me. The Foundation is doing incredible work advocating for marginalized communities, and it’s been a privilege to support their mission through design and marketing.

About the Aurora Masquerade Foundation

The Aurora Masquerade Foundation is dedicated to creating safe spaces and providing essential resources for individuals from all walks of life, especially those in marginalized communities. Their goal is to raise awareness and offer support to people who are often overlooked. One of their biggest upcoming projects is Mystic Moonlight, a Venetian masquerade gala that will help fund their various programs, with all proceeds going towards advocacy and community support.

The Foundation was brought to life by a group of passionate advocates, including Lynea Vaugeois Hetherington, who I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with. Lynea has spent decades championing kindness, safety, and empowerment through her work with marginalized families and youth. She brings a wealth of experience in event planning and social advocacy, and her leadership at Aurora has been inspiring.

The other founders, Sarah McMillen and Natasha Weston, also bring invaluable experience to the Foundation. Sarah has over two decades of experience in the human services sector and is a passionate advocate for social justice, while Natasha’s background in the entertainment industry and mental health advocacy adds another dimension to the Foundation’s work. Together, they form a team deeply committed to supporting marginalized communities.

My Role

When the opportunity to work with the Foundation came up, I was thrilled to help in any way I could. I initially started by developing their website and handling the graphic design for the event branding, working to capture the heart of their mission in a way that feels true to their values. The goal was to create a look and feel that would resonate with their audience and clearly communicate the important work they do.

In addition to the design work, I’ve also been volunteering my time to assist with marketing materials and consulting. Helping the Foundation navigate their promotional efforts has been a way for me to give back and offer whatever expertise I can.

Why It’s Important

Being involved with the Aurora Masquerade Foundation has been a humbling experience. I don’t see my role as anything grand—just a small contribution to a much larger cause that truly matters. It’s inspiring to see the dedication and heart behind this organization, and I’m grateful for the chance to support them in their mission.

With the Mystic Moonlight gala on the horizon, I’m excited to see everything come together for what I know will be a special evening. It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and funds for such a worthy cause, and I hope it makes a lasting impact.

If you’re able, I encourage you to get involved or attend the Mystic Moonlight gala on March 1st, 2025. It’s a night that promises to celebrate diversity and inclusion while supporting vital advocacy work.
