Anita & Her Girls
Wow, what a start to the year! Between diving deep into wedding stationery and contributing to the Aurora Masquerade Foundation, I hadn't picked up my camera for a while. But finally, I got back to it, and honestly, it felt like coming home.
Lacey & Family
I had the pleasure of finishing off my Christmas sessions last week with a wonderful family. Working with Lacey and her family is always a delight. They bring so much joy and positive energy to each session.
This session was probably my last one for the year as I am taking some time off for vacation and the holiday season. But don't worry. While I take this break to recharge and enjoy the holiday season, I look forward to returning in January 2024. I am excited to continue working with new and returning clients, capturing beautiful moments that they will cherish for a lifetime.
Lisette, Indy & Pepper
I recently had the pleasure of photographing an incredibly fun and beautiful family. When Lisette reached out to me for a family session, I instantly knew it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. With her and her two children around, I couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire shoot.
This family has a unique talent for effortlessly switching between looking like professional models and sharing light-hearted moments filled with jokes and teasing.
Nick and Luisa Christmas Session
Nick and Luisa are two amazing people who have been part of my photography journey for a long time. Not only are they loyal clients, but they are also close friends of mine. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with them once again, capturing this beautiful Christmas session!
Their adorable little dogs braved the cold, and managed to hang in just long enough to get through the whole session - albeit a few little grumpy faces - LOL.
Tasha & Family
Hey there! I'm back with my last session from my Saskatchewan series. I apologize for the delay in posting, but Halloween week got me super busy (it's my absolute favorite time of the year).
So, let's dive right into it. My entire week in Saskatchewan was meticulously planned, especially for those breathtaking sunset sessions. And guess what, after two nights of the sun just rapidly disappearing and full cloudy skies? I finally got the perfect one that I had been dreaming of!
Now, I want you to meet Tasha and her adorable family. They kindly took me to this incredibly charming hidden spring just outside their quaint hometown of Alsask. It was a truly magical location.
Kathy & Keith
Where to begin with Kathy and Keith? Let me tell you about these wonderful people who own Merid and Magna.
From the moment I met Kathy and Keith, they welcomed me with open arms. They are the kind of people who make you feel at home right away. During my short stay with them, they made sure I felt safe, comfortable, and like a part of their family.
Kaitlin, Morgan & the Speckled Parks
Series two of my Saskatchewan sessions: I had the pleasure of capturing beautiful moments with Kaitlin and Morgan. We decided to take advantage of the stunning scenery and incorporate their family's herd of cows, the Saskatchewan bred "Speckled Park," into the photos.
The Historic Hoosier Church
Today, I want to share with you the first installment of my Saskatchewan series. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kelty and her stunning daughters, and let me tell you, it was quite an honor. Kelty chose the perfect location for our photo session and the outfits she picked matched flawlessly.
To reach our destination, I took a short 20-minute drive from my cozy Airbnb to a small Hamlet called Hoosier. As I stepped foot into the historic Hoosier Church, which was built in 1916, I couldn't help but feel like I was transported back in time. This church is not just a place of worship, but also the heart of the community. It has witnessed countless precious moments, from baptisms to weddings.
Ricardo, Alysha & family
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the urban landscape of downtown Calgary, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and excitement. This was not just any ordinary sunset session; it was a playful adventure in the heart of High Park.
High Park, known for its colorful props and play locations, offered the perfect backdrop for capturing precious family moments. The towering high-rises, including the iconic Calgary Tower, added a touch of urban charm to the scene. It was a photographer's dream come true!
Shannon & Family
Photography isn't just about capturing a moment; it’s about encapsulating emotions, preserving memories, and telling stories that transcend generations. Every time I click the shutter, I’m not just taking a picture; I'm immortalizing a chapter in someone's life story.
A Vintage Vision Coming to Life
I've always had a deep love for all things vintage. There's just something about the elegance of the 1950s fashion and music that speaks to my soul. So when a wonderful family came to me with a concept inspired by that very era, my heart was filled with excitement.
Lois and J
It was a delightful evening capturing the essence of fall with my neighbour Lois and her little boy J. The golden hues of the setting sun perfectly complemented the warm smiles on their faces.
Golden Hour Romance
Fall is a magical time of year, as the cooler temperatures and vibrant colors transform the landscape into a stunning scene. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a truly enchanting sunset session in a sunflower field. The combination of the golden hour's soft light and the couple's love for each other created a breathtaking atmosphere.
